Safe Harbour

Safe Harbour of Carlisle has been providing housing and supportive services for homeless and near homeless individuals and families since 1986. Please consider supporting Safe Harbour so that they can continue to serve our residents in greatest need.

1. Items Needed

  • Non perishable foods, microwaveable meals (chili, stews​​​, tuna)

  • Fresh fruit

  • Antibacterial hand gel, soap

  • Disinfecting wipes

  • Disinfecting cleaners for floors, counters

  • Paper towels

  • Lysol Disinfectant spray

  • Activity books for adults and children (crosswords, coloring books, word searches)

  • Arts and crafts activities and supplies for adults and children

The following items are in greatest need. Please call 717-249-2200 or email bageorge@safeharbour.org prior to dropping off items. Drop off location is 102 West High Street, Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

2. Catered Meals

If you are able to cater a meal for 50, please contact Barrie Ann George at bageorge@safeharbour.org. 

3. Monetary Donations

Due to the cancellation of several special fund raising events and increased demands on resources for residents, monetary donations are also needed. Please consider making a monetary donation to allow Safe Harbour to purchase needed supplies.
